Printlane Designer is a plugin that's displayed in your online store when a customer wants to add a design to a product. You can configure which products can be designed.

When the Designer is enabled, the Add to cart button on product detail pages is replaced with a Personalize button. The button opens Printlane Designer and allows your customers to create their design.

After adding their design, the customer can proceed adding the product to the shopping cart alongside with their design, just like they did before Printlane was integrated in your online store.

All designs your customers have created, are available in Printlane Studio, even designs that haven't been ordered yet.

When customers order a product they have designed with Printlane Designer, you can download a print-ready production file of their design and proceed processing the order.

Printlane Studio is also the place where you manage templates. These templates can be opened in the Designer, and they display your product with options like a file upload or adding text.

Additionally, Printlane Studio also allows you to manage other content like your own artwork or fonts that your customers can choose from when designing a product.

Printlane Studio is the place where you log in to manage your designable products, view your customers' designs, and more.

The Printlane API enables you to integrate your software and services with Printlane.
